The
Thera-Band Aquafins™ Water Exercise Fins
provide a new way to work out in the water. Made of soft Santoprene® rubber for strength and flexibility, the adjustable cuffs and fins can be worn comfortably on the wrists or ankles for full body conditioning.
Aquafins™ Water Exercise Fins are designed to drag in the water, creating resistance, and the more surface area the fins come in contact with, the more resistance created. By changing the orientation of the fins, the user can change the resistance for a customized workout. The more surface area of the fins in contact with the water, the more resistance. Moving more quickly underwater also produces more force, and therefore more resistance. Each Aquafins Kit includes 2 one-size-fits-all cuffs, 2 large fins, 2 small fins, 1 mesh carrying case and detailed instructions for toning and strengthening.

A:
Yes, ideally, the narrow end of the Aquafins should be placed toward the hand or foot (away from the body) to avoid unnecessary joint loads.
