The Aquatic Head Float was designed for individuals with reflex domination. Users will find aquatic therapy is easier using this flotation device. The float freely supports the head, with no need for manual head support. The Aquatic Head Float supports the user in a neutral position, keeping pressure off the spinal column, and preventing the body from tipping backwards or sideways. The latex free foam float will not sink, even if cut or punctured. The Aquatic Head Float provides a safe support for kids with little trunk control to enjoy the water and exercise their arms and limbs.

The Aquatic Head Flotation Aid will work not only for swimmers with athetoid Cerebral Palsy, but also for those who roll sideways and backwards stretching and turning their heads when interacting with others. When users are in a near vertical position, and rotate and tip, the float works well keeping the users head supported. But when legs rise to a more horizontal position near the surface of the water, or for users who may hyper-extend, the combination Head Float with Stabilizer Bar may be more helpful.

The Aquatic Head Flotation Aid is available in Small, Medium or Large sizes. Small measures 16 inches long, 12 inches wide, 1.5 inch thick, for 20 - 30 pound users. Medium measures 20 inches long, 13 inches wide, 2 inches thick, for 40 - 50 pound users. Large measures 22 inches long, 14 inches wide, 3 inches thick, for 60 - 175 pound users.
