The
CanDo® Fold-Up Pedal Exerciser
is a pre-assembled (just add the tension knob) portable exerciser for both upper body and lower body range of motion and strengthening. For transporting or storing, this model easily folds - just push and hold the push button and bend the leg.
The CanDo Fold-Up Pedal Exerciser can be used on the floor for foot pedaling, or on a tabletop for hand pedaling. The 11 inch wide leg spread and 4 flat bottom rubber feet help keep exerciser stable on different surfaces. The pedals have wrap around adjustable straps. The adjustable tension knob allows the user to easily change the pedaling difficulty level from little resistance to heavy resistance. Users can pedal forwards or backwards for range of motion and strengthening the arms or legs. The CanDo Fold-Up Pedal Exerciser can be used on the floor for foot pedaling, or on the tabletop for hand pedaling.

A:
That really depends on your level of fitness. Always start slow and work your way up to more time on the exerciser. Most seniors did not grow up attending an aerobics class, or working out at the gym. Because these types of activities are relatively new to them, seniors may be wise to hire an ACSM-CPT to learn how to perform exercises properly to avoid injury.
