The Skil-Care Crash Pad ships compressed and will expand to complete fullness within 48 hours. The mesh vents gently release air during use and allow the pad to return to its natural ideal state. To ensure safe crashing, place the pad away from walls and furniture. The nylon cover easily wipes clean and can be laundered separately. Since it is time-consuming to remove and replace the foam, an optional outer cover is recommended that fits over the inner cover.
