The
So-Secure Teen Swim Brief
is a washable undergarment designed to be worn next-to-skin under a swim suit. This containment swim diaper provides teenage girls and boys dealing with incontinence a discreet and secure way to swim.
The So-Secure Teen Swim Brief is made of 4 way stretch polyurethane fabric with a soft fleece lining. When adjusted comfortably and securely as possible, the garment provides superior protection and peace of mind. The containment brief for swimming was designed mainly for bowel incontinence. While no garment is totally watertight, the So-Secure swim brief also provides a certain amount of protection for urinary leakage. Full elastic around the waist and legs provide added security. Hook & Loop side closures allow the user to adjust the sizing and to completely open the garment flat to make dressing easier.
To determine the correct size, measure the waist and hip and choose the larger size. If the measurements are at the higher end of a size range, don't go to a larger size. To measure rise, begin about 1 inch below the belly button, measure down through the legs, and up to the position on the back that matches the starting position on the front. Fully adjustable So-Secure Swim Brief garments are very stretchy and should fit very snug. It is important to purchase the right size, and keep it as snug as possible using the adjustable closures. The National Foundation for Continence reviewed and selected this swim brief for their Resource Guide. Although it was made specifically for swimming, many customers have found that it makes a great cover for disposable or cloth diapers. Please see So-Secure Adult Swim Brief Instructions and specifications below for measurement details.

Q:
It seems your company is discontinuing SoSecure swim briefs. Is this accurate? If so is another product replacing it or are you just not covering this market anymore? (I noticed some sizes were discounted due to material changes or blemishes) North care supply no longer offers your product. I was also curious if you recommended something like Swimmates to be worn under your product? I have IBS-D and am working with doctors and medications, but nothing seems to be helping yet. I have diarrhea 2-5x a week on average. Exercise of medium intensity unfortunately is one of my triggers and within 15-20 mins of exercise i walking in and out of the restroom for the next 1.5 hours despite sitting or laying to stop aggravating it. This means for the past...almost decade, I haven't been doing anything but sitting or laying and my health is fairly bad and my muscles demand me to sit down at about 50 mins of shopping... I wanted to start exercising to increase my health and it's suppose to help with IBS-D as well. I wanted to try swimming, kayaking, and work my way up to a self defense class, so I need help with products to get me on the road. I am an adult male in my 30s 68" tall. My approximate measurements from what i could discern are: ~36 hip (just above manhood) 31 waist (30" just below ribs but product shouldn't reach there) 21 thigh (20"-21" depending where they sit) 27.5 rise at 1” below belly button (wearing underwear only, not pants like the diagram) I also would greatly

A:
No, we do not intend on discontinuing the Swim Briefs at this time, nor have we been notified by the manufacturer that they are either.
Although you could wear Swimmates in combination with the So-Secure Swim Briefs, the Swim Briefs are intended to be used in direct skin contact.
The So-Secure Teen Swim Brief would help in your situation to prolong the amount of time between restroom breaks, depending on the amount of excrement released.
Sizing information is available in the product description.
